Phone connection guide
Connect your phone to Righto.
Your normal number stays exactly the same and keeps ringing normally. Righto only steps in when you don't answer, you're already on a call, or your phone is unavailable.
First, choose your phone
Your normal business number does not change. Customers keep calling the same number they always have.
Before connecting an iPhone
Settings → Apps → Phone → Live Voicemail → OFF.
On older iPhones it may be under Settings → Phone.
Settings → Apps → Phone → Silence Unknown Callers → OFF.
These features can answer or redirect a new customer's call before Righto receives it.
Before connecting an Android phone
Most Android phones need no change. In the Phone app settings, turn off anything that automatically answers, rejects or screens unknown calls.
- Google Pixel 6 or newer: Phone app → Settings → Take a Message → OFF. If automatic Call Screen is available, turn that off too.
- Newer Samsung phones: Phone app → Menu → Settings → Call screening → Auto screen calls → OFF.
- Other Android phones: look for Take a Message, Call screening, Auto screen calls or Block unknown callers.
Manual call screening is fine—just don't select it during the Righto test. Spam warnings that still let the phone ring are also fine.
Connect from your private setup link
Open the personal link Righto sends you on the phone you're connecting. Your buttons are made with the correct routing details already inside them—you don't enter or choose a number yourself.

This generic guide doesn't contain anyone's connection details. Use the personal link sent by Righto.
Check it, then test it
- Dial *#61#. Your phone should show the assigned Righto number for unanswered calls.
- Use a different phone to call your normal business mobile. Don't answer—let it ring out.
- The caller should hear your greeting and receive your automatic text within seconds.
- Check the business name, wording and callback number in the text.
Don't test by calling from the same phone or SIM being diverted.
Turn Righto off
Dial ##004# to remove all three diversions. Your carrier's ordinary voicemail may need to be reactivated afterwards.
Individual off-codes: ##61# no answer · ##62# unavailable · ##67# busy.
Something didn't work?
If a code shows an error, the call still reaches ordinary voicemail, or the automatic text doesn't arrive, book a free setup call. We'll test it with you.
